Animation
This is a collection of animations I created, ranging from frame by frame to motion graphics and stop motion. For each animation I chose the style that best matched the brief by analysing target audiences, branding and tone. Click on each video and see them go!
This project is the title sequence of a conceptual show for the book “Circe.” I used frame by frame animation to create a fluid feeling carrying the audience throughout the story of Circe. I used a sketchy animation style to convey Circe’s turmoil and used re-occurring imagery to foreshadow the intentions and relationships of character.
This stop-motion animation was created Using a modular interior model, the animation depicts the changing styles from the 1800s, 1940s, 1960s, and today through changes in wallpaper and decorations, all of which are designed by Morris and Co. highlighting the timelessness of the brand.
I designed the the model for the back wall to be removable and change between 4 different designs. The curtains and cushions are also made of paper and sourced from the Morris and Co. website, allowing viewers to shop the designs created in the animation.

This animation was created for the 2024 RSA Awards, using motion graphics. The design was inspired by 1960s pop art and technicolour television of the 1950s and 60s, following the development of media. The assets used were created in Adobe Illustrator creating simple and clean designs. Additionally, splatter texture was used on some assets and as an overlay to create a cohesive, retro inspired design and to add movement by separating the moving images from the textured layer.
These two animations were created for the 2024 Fringe Festival for the French Institute. the first animation was used to pitch my design concepts, and created using a combination of motion graphics and stop-motion. The second animation uses motion graphics and was used to advertise the the Fringe shows at the French Institute in Edinburgh, placing the original poster that I created into motion.
