Vive le Fringe!

I created the advertising campaign chosen for the 2024 ‘ Vive le Fringe!’ festival by the French Institute. I presented 2 concepts; the chosen concept was inspired by the theme of community and creation as the ‘Vive le Fringe!’ performances are created by the French community.  The design uses visual illusions such as the ladder which is also the Eiffel tower and the curtains which are also faces, creating lots of visual interest and engaging the audience to look closer. Mix-media was used to add interest and create a feeling of tactility further engaging the audience

The second pitched concept, was a collection of photography based, mix media designs which feature a paper theatre that moves to reveal different performers, this concept included a set of 4 print advertisements which encourage the viewer to find all the performers and an animation showcasing the moving theatre.For the final project, I experienced creating a variety of commercial print and digital outcomes which allowed me to gain insight on the commercial advertising and large-scale print process.
